Every Day is Halloween EP:10 - The Death and Rebirth of Physical Media
This is an episode I have been wanting to do for quite some time. Tim Anderson and I sit down and discuss where physical media is headed. With things like Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services, it feels like there is no more room (pun intended) for Blu-Ray's, DVD's and all other types of physical media these days. But don't fret just yet my haunted collector! This episode might just open your eyes!

TOP GAMES OF 2014!
This year has been an odd one for gaming (for me at least.) Usually I'm skipping around from game, to game, to game with so many different stories to embark on. But with the lack of creative titles this year, I've immersed myself in games like TitanFall, Destiny and GTAV: Online that just have over all fun multiplayer game play.
I just received a Wii U this Christmas, so I hope this brings more fun and creativity to my personal gaming realm. I've only had my hands on Smash Bros. for a short bit, but I can already feel the intensity I once felt with my last Nintendo console growing inside once again! I also look forward to some great PC titles in 2015, as I am really opening up my Steam collection these days.
1. TitanFall (Xbox One)
2. Super Smash Bros. (WiiU)
3. INfamous: Second Son (PS4)
4. The Evil Within (PS4)
5. Destiny (XBox One)
6. South Park: The Stick of Truth (XBox 360)
7. Alien: Isolation (PC)
8. Costume Quest 2 (PC)
9. Grand Theft Auto V (XBox One)
10. Wolf Among Us (PC)
TitanFall takes the cake for infusing me with the ultimate mech fantasy this year! Nothing beats jumping from roof top, to rooftop, onto your mech, just in time to rip off another mechs arms and beat him with them. Second Son was my favorite most "over all polished game" this year. I had zero complaints with it and enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would.
Sadly I did not get around to playing Sunset Overdrive, Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor, Dragon Age: Inquisition or Mario Kart 8, but you better believe they are on the radar when the sales next year hit!
BONUS:
Honorable Mention goes to Playstations playable trailer P.T. for being one of the most realistic and terrifying horror gaming experiences I have ever had. I think I am looking forward to Silent Hills more than any other game in 2015!
TOP FILMS OF 2014!
I do these every year. If you'd like to hear my top horror pics of 2014 tune into Decembers episode of the podcast. I rate these by how enjoyable the films were. I also take in repayable value. Meaning, I enjoyed Interstellar, Tusk and Gone Girl...But it don't think I'll watch them multiple times.
2014 really wasn't the best for the cinemas. But a few golden eggs popped out of that old hen called Hollywood. Just think, 2015 brings major films Jurassic World, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: Episode VII! I'm cooling myself off like a southern belle in church right now just thinking about them. For now, the best of 2014!
Best Films of 2014
1. Big Hero 6
2.Grand Budapest Hotel
3. Rise of the Planet of the Apes4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. X-Men: Days of Future Past
6. Nightcrawler
7. The Babadook
8. Under the Skin
9. Godzilla
10. The Interview
Worst Films of 2014
1.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
2. Let's Be Cops
3. 300: Rise of an Empire
4. Noah
5. Nurse 3D
6. Willow Creek
7. I, Frankenstein
8. Cabin Fever: Patent Zero
9. Oculus
10. Bad Words
Yes, I still need to see Boyhood, Whiplash and Birdman. Also Dumb and Dumber To was not a fond trip down memory lane. More like watching your drunk uncle tell the same story again at the dinner table.
