R.I.P. True Blood
Also for a vampire series, it was at least a better representative of the White Wolf series in comparison to say, Kindred: The Embraced.
PS: What was up with Tara's over dubbed kid voice?!

My encounter with the Smallest Woman in the World
Years ago I met American Horror Story: Freak Shows newest cast member Jyoti Amge, the worlds smallest woman. And It was pretty awkward.
I paid the man out front $1 to go in with me and my date. I completely thought there would be a show on inside and a few others behind the current. What we saw was Jyoti sitting Indian style on a small stool, typing away at her phone and checking social media. She looked up at us. We looked down at her....paused for two seconds....and then walked right back out.
A) Dirty as human being
B) Cheated out of ah buck.
C) Bummed because cell phones have (once again) officially ruined all things fun in my life. Including freakshows!

Now Watching:
This film could never EVER be remade today. A fraternity fakes a school shooting in the court yard to cheat on their final exams. Yowza!

A Night in the Woods (review)
I review films all the time for Bloody Disgusting's News from the Crypt. So many I sometimes forget what the hell I've seen. (radio, what a business!) I'm here on my blog ready to rectify that!
Here is one of just the many new releases hitting store shelves and probably your Netflix instant queue soon.
Shaky cam haters STAY AWAY! This picture makes The Blair Witch Project look like it was filmed by the most steady of hands.
A Night in the Woods is a story about three not so close friends going on a hiking trip. Sexual tensions and strained relationships come to a head. Paranoia reaches its peak all while much darker forces start rearing their eerie yet, plot hole'ish heads.
If you want to watch a couples relationship go down the tubes for 82 minutes, be my guest. The only thing scary about this movie was the fact that the main character had to film everything. I mean everything! I get the film has to tell the story through this plot device. But it is so forced down your throat that by the end of this movie, you would not be surprised if the lead pulled a camera right out his unmentionable.
Reading "From the makers of Bronson & Monsters" had me a bit excited because I loved Monsters! But when I took a closer look using my friend the internet...I found that the two guys who helped produce Monsters helped produce this with the star from Monsters. So the tag should really read "From the guys who gave Gareth Edwards money to make Monsters."
In the end Monsters is not completely awful. In fact the locations the crew shot at looked beautiful! The cameras they used really made this movie look wonderful on bluray! At times these gorgeous shots just dragged though. Probably so we could escape the constant nagging and whining from our three stars.
Viewer beware, for this movie may leave you cursing during the films final stretch.
I'm giving "A Night in the Woods" 1 skull out of 5. AWFUL. I'll stick with the Cabin in the Woods thank you very much.
